What is Ovara Health?
Ovara Health is a private women’s health clinic at 274 Fulham Road, Chelsea, London. We offer consultant-led care across gynaecology, urogynaecology, pregnancy scanning, fertility investigations, menopause, fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal smears and medical aesthetics. Every appointment is with a consultant, and no GP referral is needed.
Do I need a GP referral to be seen?
No. You can book directly as a self-pay patient without a GP letter or referral. If your health insurer requires a referral for pre-authorisation, our reception team can help you arrange it.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Urgent appointments are usually available, including Saturdays. Contact the reception team and they will find you the earliest suitable time.
How much does a private consultation cost?
A new consultation with a consultant is £300. A combined consultation and ultrasound scan is £475, a follow-up appointment is £260 and a standalone ultrasound scan is £300. Individual treatment prices are listed on our fees page.
Which health insurers do you accept?
We work with all major UK private health insurers including Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Vitality, WPA and Cigna. Please bring your membership details and any pre-authorisation number when you attend. Self-pay patients are equally welcome.
What conditions do you treat?
Our nine areas of expertise cover gynaecology (including heavy periods, ovarian cysts and PCOS), urogynaecology, pregnancy and scanning, fertility investigations, menopause, fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal smears and HPV, and medical aesthetics.
Can I book a private ultrasound scan directly?
Yes. Standalone ultrasound scans are £300, or you can combine a consultation and scan in a single visit for £475. Pregnancy scans, pelvic scans and transvaginal scans are all carried out at the Chelsea clinic.
