Pelvic Ultrasound
High-resolution ultrasound of the uterus, ovaries, and pelvis. Available on the same appointment as your consultation, giving you answers the same day.
Hysteroscopy
A thin camera passed into the uterus to examine the uterine cavity. Used to investigate abnormal bleeding, polyps, fibroids, and unexplained symptoms.
Colposcopy
Detailed cervical examination following an abnormal smear. Biopsy and treatment (LLETZ) can be performed in the same appointment if required.
Blood Tests and Hormones
Comprehensive panels including hormone profiles, AMH (ovarian reserve), thyroid function, and sexual health screening to support accurate diagnosis.
Endometrial Biopsy
A small sample of the uterine lining to investigate abnormal or postmenopausal bleeding. A straightforward procedure performed in clinic with minimal discomfort.
Contraception and HPV
IUD and IUS fitting and removal, implant management, and HPV vaccination. All provided in a private, comfortable clinical setting with specialist oversight.

No. You can book directly with us without a GP referral. Simply call our team or use the online booking form and we will arrange your appointment. We can liaise with your GP afterwards if you would like your records updated.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Same-day and next-day appointments are regularly available. In most cases patients can be seen within 24 to 48 hours. Please call us directly for the earliest available slot.
Can I have a scan on the same day as my consultation?
Yes. We have an ultrasound scanner on-site and in most cases can perform a pelvic ultrasound during your consultation. This means you can leave with a clear picture of what is happening rather than waiting for a separate scan date.
Will I see a consultant or a nurse?
You will always see a senior specialist consultant at Ovara Health. Every appointment is led by a fully qualified consultant gynaecologist, not a nurse or junior doctor. This is a core part of how we operate.
Do you accept health insurance?
