Dr Angelakov is a French-trained and qualified Gynaecologist and General Surgeon with over 20 years of clinical experience in both Paris and London. She works across hospital and outpatient settings and is known for her personalised, holistic approach to women’s health.
Alongside her conventional surgical and medical training, Dr Angelakov has completed university-accredited qualifications in medical acupuncture and clinical hypnosis. These additional skills allow her to integrate evidence-based complementary therapies into standard medical care.
She offers medical acupuncture as both a supportive treatment and an alternative option for women who wish to avoid hormonal therapies, particularly for the management of menopausal symptoms.
She also uses medical hypnosis, especially during coil insertions, to promote relaxation and ensure procedures are as gentle and comfortable as possible.
Dr Angelakov supports women through all stages of life, from adolescence to menopause. She regularly treats teenagers with concerns such as irregular periods, period pain, and contraception. She also guides women who are planning pregnancy or navigating menopause.
