In January (this year) I called to make an appointment with one of the consultants. I was told that I would be called back. Someone from the centre then called and booked me in for the following Friday. When I went in for the appointment, I was told that there was no record but that Dr Yemi would fit me in. I also showed them my phone records. After waiting while another patient was seen, I was then told I would have to wait for another patient’s consultation. Really frustrating and poor organisation, given that it is time out of the working day. I’d advise anyone making an appointment to make sure they get it in writing or to book online. Edited to say: I received a call from the clinic later that afternoon apologising and offering me a free scan, so the below response is surprising! I also showed the receptionist my phone records from the 23rd January showing the clinic had called me. I also have records from the call from Friday.
